Rain + Hikes
West Virginia is filled with breathe taking views. Luckily for me, it is only a hop, skip, and a jump from my Ohio home. The best way to break out of your routine and explore is to JUST GO. Fill your tank with gas and drive. This trip to Blackwater Falls State Park was a quick weekend getaway with friends. The rain did not make the trip a disappointment, it actually made the secluded hike that much more private (because who goes hiking in the rain), and the clouds created epic photos that capture the dewy mood. As always, we were prepared with the very best rain gear REI has to offer! I find it to be true that, "There is no such things as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing."
